Model wearing helmet, breast plate, helmet and thigh
armour. The breast plate was constructed by carving
the shape in polystyrene foam, covering the foam in
lightweight glass fibre cloth, reinforced with epoxy
laminating resin.
The foam was then removed and the remaining shell
painted in polyester and acrylic paints.
The thigh armour was constructed by taking a modroc
cast from a model and building up a plug,
from which a mould was made.
The armour was then laminated in lightweight
Glass fibre cloth.
